Building Your Dream Pool Made Simple
At Pool HQ, we’ve refined our pool construction process to make it smooth, transparent, and stress-free. From the first approval to your final handover, we take care of everything so you can focus on the exciting part — enjoying your brand-new pool.
Step 1: Approvals & Insurance
We begin by securing QBCC insurance, plans, and council approvals. Once everything is in place, we’ll confirm your construction start date so you know exactly when the process begins.
Step 2: Excavation
Our team schedules excavation works to shape the footprint of your new swimming pool. This is when your backyard starts to transform into the framework of your future oasis.
Step 3: Steel & Formwork
Next, we build the box and steel formwork and complete all internal plumbing. This stage ensures your pool is structurally reinforced and ready for the concrete shell.
Step 4: Concrete Shell
We spray the reinforced concrete to create your pool shell. At this stage, you’ll really start to see your pool taking shape.
Step 5: Plumbing & Filtration
Our experts run all plumbing lines and install your filtration system, ensuring clean, safe, and healthy water for your family to enjoy.
Step 6: Tiling & Finishes
Within 2–3 weeks of the shell installation, the pool tiling and interior finishes are complete. This is when your pool begins to look truly polished and ready for use.
Step 7: Surroundings & Compliance
We coordinate with you to complete pool surroundings such as paving, decking, and landscaping. Once the pool fencing is certified, your pool is officially ready to be filled.
Step 8: Handover & Enjoyment
Finally, we walk you through your pool handover, providing clear instructions on maintenance, equipment use, and water care. From there, it’s time to dive in and start enjoying your new concrete swimming pool.
